Any nurses doing any independent contract work, I am an OBNP looking to have more independence in a job I can set my own schedule and still use my nursing skills. I heard about a company called Health Data Insights which allows nurses to set their own schedules and go into hospitals and review records for billing, I was so excited to apply but recently learned you must be willing to travel!
Anyone else do independent contracting (i.e., lectures, legal nurse consulting) willing looking for a job I could work from home majority of the time! Is this possible for nurses?

I worked as an independent contractor for a company, as a major case manager and voc counselor, for ten years. My position entailed traveling approximately 1000 to 1500 miles, per week, within the state of Florida. There are case management positions that allow one to work from home but also some travel is required.
