OBNP

Any nurses doing any independent contract work, I am an OBNP looking to have more independence in a job I can set my own schedule and still use my nursing skills. I heard about a company called Health Data Insights which allows nurses to set their own schedules and go into hospitals and review records for billing, I was so excited to apply but recently learned you must be willing to travel! Anyone else do independent contracting (i.e., lectures, legal nurse consulting) willing looking for a job I could work from home majority of the time! Is this possible for nurses? Erin

I am thinking about doing consultant work, not necessarily legal. I completed the Kaplan College program.

I also recently complted a lnc program not yet certified. I was trying to see if there are other types of consulting jobs available.

Any Nurse who are involved in consultant work as an independent contractor? If so, what do you do? I am an OBNP of 7 years recently became a stay at home mom and I am interested in other ways to utilize my skills on a part time basis without the strict hours. erin
