Include Pending BSN & STTI membership on resume?

Specializes in ICU.

I'm already an RN. I'm wrapping up my BSN program (last 6 weeks) and want to update my resume so I can start sending it out as soon as possible (I haven't worked in 4 years). Should I only indicate my pending BSN under the education section, or should I include it at the top, next to my name? I don't want my resume tossed because BSN isn't clearly indicated. I know I don't have the degree yet, but I'm only 6 weeks away - yes, I understand anything can happen to prevent me from graduating, but I'm not planning on it (I've experienced enough tragedy during the past 4 years to last a lifetime). If I include it at the top, would it look ok like this:

Crabby Patty, BSN (expected May, 2015), RN or

Crabby Patty, RN, (BSN, May, 2015)

Also, I've been told that I'll be inducted into STTI (my cumulative GPA has been 4.0, and with only 6 weeks left, I don't plan on that changing). Is it OK to include this under memberships (or should I just leave it off):

Sigma Theta Tau International (membership pending)

Thanks for any feedback!

P.S. - I'm not really crabby ;) The name is from my son's favorite cartoon

I would not put it (the pending BSN) after my name for now, but definitely include it under education on your resume' (indicating clearly your anticipated graduation date and that this is pending/anticipated).

I would also list that I've been nominated for STTI, with the planned induction date, under memberships/honors/whatever.

Congratulations!
