The surrounding areas also...I'm asking because i live in new jersey and I don't want to work at a hospital too far away from my family....ANY SUGGESTIONS?

It really depends on what area you what to work in. Some hospitals specialize in different things. However, in this job market, I would say work at any of them that offers you a job.

In Southern NJ...Cooper or Lourdes. I tend to lean toward the teaching hospitals. I live in Jersey and work at Christiana in DE (in top 100 hospitals to work at in US per Nursing mag 2009). Hope this helps.

You don't say what area you want to work in, although NJ is not a large state it is densely populated and traffic is a issue to get to and from work can take a toll
