IN your opinion, what is the best hospital to work at in New Jersey and Why?

The surrounding areas also...I'm asking because i live in new jersey and I don't want to work at a hospital too far away from my family....ANY SUGGESTIONS?

It really depends on what area you what to work in. Some hospitals specialize in different things. However, in this job market, I would say work at any of them that offers you a job.

In Southern NJ...Cooper or Lourdes. I tend to lean toward the teaching hospitals. I live in Jersey and work at Christiana in DE (in top 100 hospitals to work at in US per Nursing mag 2009). Hope this helps. :nurse:

You don't say what area you want to work in, although NJ is not a large state it is densely populated and traffic is a issue to get to and from work can take a toll
