In North Georgia, What is the best school to attend for the nursing program

I am wanting to get started in the Nusing program, but do not know what school around the cumming (ga) area is the best school and what school i highly recommended. Does anyone have any insight on where I should attend or what schools to look at?

It really depends on what type of program you are looking for and if you want a state school or private. There are several programs in the general area. North Georgia College has an ASN program with a satellite campus in Cumming. Brenau is a private school that offers both a PT and FT BSN in Gainesville. Gwinnett Tech has an ASN program in Lawrenceville and Lanier Tech has a LPN in Oakwood. I suggest looking at all of the schools within driving distance then checking to see if they offer a nursing program that fits your needs. Then, research those programs and make a decision about which to apply to. Remember, most are competitive and require a year or more of prereqs, great grades, and high test scores to get in.
