I'm so sorry you are having such a hard time. I passed the adult CNS exam way back in 2006 and even the peds exam I did in 2011 so I don't have any recent experience.
However, do you remember the little spiral bound book about the three spheres of the CNS scope? That is what I used in conjunction with Mometrix
I used the NP books for my review. You many want to get Leik or Fitzgerald for clinical content and use your Hamric for the CNS piece. I passed adult acute CNS on the first try. Also, go to the ANCC website and look at their resources. I hope this helps. Have you logged onto facebook? There is a CNS support group for boards.

Hello to allnurses! I am in MAJOR need of a study method/materials in order to help me pass my adult gerontological CNS exam! I have now taken it 2 times and get really frustrated bc I don't know what I got wrong or how to fix what I am doing to not pass!! I have the momometrix book and flashacards and I recently bought the 2500 review questions (which didn't seem helpful).
I really want my third time to be the charm ☘ï¸
Thank you so much,
Abby
