In need of Family NP preceptor in Florida

hi and thank you for taking a look at my post. i am currently in the family np program at case western reserve university in cleveland, oh. one of the great benefits of their program is that you can complete it long distance with about three trips to the main campus per semester. the difficult part of this benefit is that if you are not in the cleveland area you have to arrange your own clinical placements. i started the program in cleveland but am moving to the st petersburg area this month and need to find a preceptor for my adult and older adult clinical management class. the ideal clinical setting for this class is a family practice office. i am in need of 180 hours of clinical time between the beginning of february and may 1. i am willing to travel anywhere in the state for the right opportunity. if you think you might be able to help me, your generosity will be greatly appreciated. i can be contacted at [email protected].

When in school I was always able to find preceptors in the public health departments, non profit community centers are also good sources. You basically have to cold call them or show up and ask around. Good luck.
