hi, i am a newbie here. i am confused which one to take, bp for 3mos or bachelor's degree in nursing? i heard that even if i have zero hospital experience, i will still be considered for the bp. but my concerns are: will i be able to pass the program and will it be easy for me to land a job?

for the two-year bachelor's degree in nursing, i think it is too long since i graduated a four-yr course before i took up nursing for 3 yrs and a master's degree for a year. i am already a registered nurse for 3 years. in short i am already old and if possible i do not want to study that long anymore. but i have gone to a lot of agencies and consultancies, all of them suggested that i pursue this one so that i will be more marketable in oz and after two years of studying i will be granted another 2 years more for a working permit. one thing that bothers me a lot is that, will i be able to sustain my studies since i am only given 40hours/2weeks to work? the tuition fee costs 23000 aud annually.

kindly help me to decide. please share your experiences both for the bp and bachelor takers. thank you. god bless...

ps: i guess i am in the wrong thread, bear with me and kindly direct me to the right one. thanks again...

Hi did you already enroll somewhere else? Btw, does Southern Immigration also requires clinical exp?

Sent from my iPhone using allnurses.com

hi marklouiemarco.

i already settled my tuition in etea.i am for jan 2013 intake. i also sent an email to CON requesting for withdrawal of my application. any updates from them regarding your application?

Southern immigration requires atleast 6months hospital experience. volunteer experience also accepted..

Guys, how much must your bank statement have for your 456 visa? Help!

hello reshajane (and all other friends), i am for the 3 month BP at Alpine Health. I had applied for a 456 visa on my own and i was granted the visa. when i applied, here are the things I submitted:

my original passport with certified copy of passport

my offer letter from the hospital in Australia offering the BP

a copy of my ielts (mine was already expired but it has been accepted)

my relevant current nursing licenses, original and certified copies

all other relevant educational certificates and copies therof

my bank statement with balance around 400,000 pesos(or rupees)

and of course, the visa fees

Please make sure you have your originals with you in case they will ask to see them. usually the passport will be shown in original to the person in the visa application center but it will be returned back to you same day.

thereafter, I had my biometrics taken and within a week, a visa case officer emailed me saying that I have to go and do my medicals.

Visa grant letter arrived and its a label free visa. So now I am looking at flights now.

Good Luck!

Doubt a pr of Australia sponsor can sponsor from another country as they are out of the jurisidiction of Australia and can therefore need not met any of the obligations.

I do know to sponsor a family member for a visa, you must have pr and be residing in Australia and lodge your sponsorship in Australia.

Hello Everyone!

I am confused with the visa. The imma.gov website recommended 575 but my brother who is working in Australia suggested I should get 676 visa since I will be staying with him as a tourist after the study.

Moreover, I will be sending my application in the province. Any experience with that so far?

Thanks!

Thanks a lot! WHere did you lodge your visa? Where are you located?

I just sent my requirements yesterday. I think they require the 456 visa since MHTI is not CRICOS accredited. I don't know about the scanned docs. Where are you located?

Im from cebu! Did you send your requirements to mercy health or for the visa...Im also thinking of taking the 456 visa...don't know about CRICOS accreditation...is that important? my email add is krstnal at gmail dot com.:)

Hi ishtin,

Do you do research about their validity? I got the offer for August as well but I am in doubt.

Hi reshajane, I lodged my 456 visa in Dubai Visa Application center. I currently reside in the UAE.

Thanks a lot! WHere did you lodge your visa? Where are you located?

Which is better St lukes or Nationwide to have medical exam in terms of forwarding results? I read from other forums that Nationwide has some issues with regards to posting results to the embassy unlike st lukes which is very efficient on this aspect. Any personal experience on this? Please share and if you have tips like best time to arrive at the clinic. Thank you in advance.
