hi there everyone! i need ur help guys! pls give me some advice. this is is my story..i have a current application in an agency in california where in they have petitioned me using the H1-B visa or immigrant visa. they already filed my I-140. i have a case status already and priority date of march 2006. But until now im still here in the philippines waiting for my visa due to retrogression. A friend of mine offered me a direct hiring hospital in texas where in they are offering me a working visa or H1-C visa.they told me that it is much faster and can only take 3-6 months to process...Can i still apply for that texas agency and opted for working visa?? what will happen to my old application in california?? will my working visa be approved?? will there be a problem in issuance of my visa due to two applications?? will it confuse the consul regarding my two applications? pls help me guys! plsssssss plssssssss

I somehow don't think your agency has filed H1B visa as it is something totally different from immigration visa and nurses haven't really come under that category for a few years.
Please take the time to read this forum as much has been written about H1C including if cancelled you have x amount of days to find another hospital with H1c to accept you or you have to leave the US. All nurses are currently affected by retrogression. Be aware if the hospital has H1c then they have issues in the area with safety and retaining staff.
