I'm a total wreck... I just failed Kaplan!

And I'm taking the NCLEX on Thursday. I got a 59 on the CD Rom test and I don't know what to do. I've been doing really well on the Mosby's very difficult level of questions and I've been getting between 70-80% in Saunders. I took the ERI testing at school and scored above the national average. Should I be as worried as I am regarding Kaplan? What can I do from now until Thursday????:banghead:

i am not a very good test taker. i score 50%-60% in kaplan and average on Saunders/lippincot and I failed Mosby's practice questions. nevertheless, I PASSED NCLEX with passing colors the first time!

focus on the rationales. read them again on your last week. read on infection control (airborne, contact, droplet precaution) and prioritization guidelines.

good luck on your test!

Don't worry, the Kaplan questions are hard. I took Kaplan too, I was scoring around the same percentage as you. I am not saying this to make you feel better, the truth is that many of my buddies scored below 65% on Kaplan and they did just fine on the Nclex. All of them got 75 questions and passed. Just remember, when you take Nclex, safety first and read through the questons, double check your answers to match what the question is asking and you'll do fine. The day before the test, just relax, if you like, review only very little like only for 2 hours MAX, then relax for the rest of the day. Good luck!
