Taking the test to be certified as a Med/Surge RN in the morning. Any words of wisdom? Advice? I've heard from a lot of people on this site that the test really isn't very hard, and have heard from ONE person at work that it is.
For my part, I haven't really studied. Our manager really didn't provide us with any materials to study; the last group to take the test had these materials. I've been kinda looking at it as an achievement test, and I'll just let my knowledge and common sense guide me... I guess. :chuckle

You only reviewed for a week? How long have you been a med/surg nurse?
I'm in a 10 week study class with another co worker. Our employer pays for it, so what the heck. I study at home through a university website.
It's very in depth and a lot of homework. They have a 95% passing rate.
Still..I'm worried I'm going to bomb this exam. I'm so not a test taker anyway, and those questions can be really tricky.
