Wow, after 3 nights of waiting I found out this morning that I passed!!! I totally was doubting myself... things going through my head like wait, what if I didn't get the higher level questions, I didn't get any delegations, how in the world could I pass if I got so many SATA, etc... The NCLEX is the meanest thing ever!!! Nerve-racking to go into, emotional during, wanting to cry after and a wait that just makes you want to pull out all of your hair! AH! It's over, I'm definitely going to celebrate!
Thank you everyone for your kind words and support during the wait. Also, for everyone who posted up their experiences because that kept me busy.
I expect my first day to be sometime next week. I missed out on the new grad orientation (which I heard doesn't help much anyway) so I'm pretty much getting thrown into the wolves. I will get 8-12 weeks with a preceptor. I'll find out my schedule on Thursday.
Oh man that sounds so fun. Are you excited that you're finally able to practice as an RN? I know I can't wait.
Congratulations!!! I had a feeling you passed with so many SATA's. Seems to be that the more SATA's one gets, the more likely they are to have passed, atleast with my classmates. They all passed and had at minimum 8-25 SATA's. Unfortunately I failed and did not have any SATA's. I retest beginning of September and I'm praying for SATA's and that I pass...
