Hi Oliver,
nice to see you here-my mother is from Spain and we have visited a few times, I haven't seen any other Spanish nurses on this board yet. Definetly contact the board of nursing, there are links on the homepage of allnurses. Good luck:balloons:

Thanks, I'm from Canary Islands (Spain) It's near Africa and a very nice place. Can you explain to me how many kinds of nurses there are here?, I studied in the university for 3 years, I worked in Paliative care for 2 years, maybe it is my favorite service, I wrote 2 chapters for two books about this. Thank you for answering me.
Welcome to Allnurses.com...................I am an American nurse that resides and works in Bangkok.
Actually spent a week over New Year's in Tenerife three years ago. It was beautiful. Loved all of the fresh fish and seafood, except that I like to eat early, not at the Spanish time, so I was always there when the restaurants
reopened for dinner. And loved the big animal park with the penguins.
Which island do you live on?
We have Diploma degree which can be either a 2 or 3 year program.
Associate degree which is 2 years.
Bachelors degree which is 4 years.
All three of these programs allow you to sit for the NCLEX exam which gives you licensure as an RN.

Thanks Suzanne, I was living in Gran Canaria, there are 2 big islands, Tenerife and Gran Canaria.
The big animal prk's name is LORO PARK, and I liked too.
I have the same problem here with the United States time for to eat, It's very difficult for me to eat dinner at 5, I always eat dinner at 8 or 9 in Spain...
I would like to work here in EEUU but I need to learn english first.
Thank you for your answer.
