i was confused when I had my clinicals yesterday in the pediatrics ward with my patient having metronidazole.. in a drug guide I read that one of the responsibilities when giving this drug is to watch for seizures. i was really shaking when my CI asked if metronidazole can cause seizures... and I did not have the liberty to defend what I wrote in my pharmacard because I couldnt think straight... any thoughts about this?
