So some of you know I have been in monitoring for the last 2 years. It was very disheartening saying that I don't have a substance abuse issue. It was because of a traffic stop years and years ago that was dismissed dealing with alcohol. It was a little easier as I didn't have to attend groups or AA meetings.. just check in daily and get performance evals done by my employer and I had to do 6 weeks of IOP. I have come to realize that the board of nursing in my state consist of horrible mean people with no compassion. Every interaction was an unpleasant one. I stayed under the radar never missed a check in and did as I was told. I completed my monitoring the Monday and after arguing with my board I was finally released this Thursday. What I don't get is when the board sends correspondence they tell you reply back in a certain amount of days or your license will be suspended, but they take no urgency when it's matter affecting us nurses. I have not learned anything from this program and it was not beneficial to me . I want to say it helped to interact with you guys while doing my time. I can say I can finally do as I please, treat myself when I'm sick with actual meds.. and it felt even better to delete that affinity app. Keep going guys your time will come and you can live life as you please. God bless you all!

Hahaha I've only had one test. So I actually can't even speak on it ...yet. Some testing place in the next town. All they do is assistance program tests. But I also had like 30 places to choose from within the 20 miles.
