So sorry to hear about your dog I have a dog too and he is my first dog ever....great dog too...It's so sad when they are sick and can't really tell you what's wrong. I hope he will be OK. I did get a date of 8/24-26th in Syracuse....got it today. Both excited and ready to puke! Started Sheri's workshop online yesterday and just printed the study guide..I LOVE her study guide...so much easier to digest than EC's HUGE one.
I'll keep your baby in my prayers!:redbeathe
Well my baby has NO CANCER.....whew, found out yesterday! Close one there! It was just a spleenic infarct (spleen congestion and hemmorage in the lab work terms)....but he's good, staples are out and I am now cool, calm and collected! Congrats on your date.....I am hoping to get mine soon so I can FOCUS......I am lacking focus right now by not having a date.....when I get it though, I'll be in full force study mode.
Nervous 1-----Did you ever get reply? My reply was that they would be sending out confirmation packets for July/August soon. That was last Tuesday. My son was in the hospital so I had not been online until today.
Well I was forced to take a 2 week hiatus from study and anything related to Excelsior. An extremely sick dog who ended up having a spleen removal last week and waiting to find out if he has the "silent killer" cancer has been torture. But I decided today that I needed to get back on track plus he is home and doing well, just waiting on path results. He is my only "child" and I am overly attached to him.I have about 5 careplans to do for ST's workshop that have been laying in my inbox. I had hoped to test the last week in May but looks like that won't happen. I emailed SPAC this morning to see if they have any cancellations for June/July. My renewal fee is due in July and I already plan to continue on to my BSN so I will have to pay the fee anyway.
Time to get back on track. My Mnemonics are coming along, I try to write a few of them out daily but I have slacked off a bit lately. Now I am trying to get caught up on posts here and on the EC board.
I know the feeling. I'm going to Sheri's workshop June 8th and would like to have a date before I go because I can focus on getting this behind me. All I have been doing is careplans and writing my mnemonics, more really on care plans. I think the AOC's I can do pretty easily, you will have your mnemonics as a checklist for those.
