Hey everyone I just joined the AllNurses group and got my acceptance letter in the mail to start Health Assessment and Foundations Fall 2011. Is anyone from the Texas area? I am attending the University of Mary Hardin Baylor school of Nursing. Wish me luck!

Hello i applied to did you get in? I am waiting to see if i got in i was placed on the waiting list due to a transcript being missing. I pray to God that i get in. Are you from Texas? Are you a nurse?

I applied to UMHB for 2012 as well! Has anyone heard back yet? I was told it would be mid-November and still nothing, just getting anxious now :( any information would be helpful!

I would for sure call them. Usually if you get in or not they send you a letter and possibly an address or paper work could have gotten mixed up. Don't give up or lose hope!

Hey sorry for the late reply. It wasn't hard for me to get in, being one of the 11 guys out of a 110 class haha, yet girls on the other hand have a slightly more competitive criteria. Have you heard anything yet?

Ok so right before Thanksgiving I emailed Stacy and asked if I should be looking, or should have already gotten my letter. She asked me what my address was supposed to be on the application, I replied, then replied again asking my first question, and I have gotten nothing since. That's kinda why I am getting really anxious about it. I am honestly fine with an acceptance or rejection because I haven't finished two pre-reqs and once those are done, I can apply to a couple of other places, but I really just want to know now. Patience wasn't ever a strong point for me haha.

Haha yeah trust me, if it is one thing God MAJORLY works into your life and character through Nursing, it will be Patience. Get use to it and learn to smile at the coming challenges. Do you want UMHB's College of Nursing phone number? I can give you Stacy's because it is our Finals week this week and that probably explains you not receiving any replies just yet. I would help out here if I could, but I don't know how much I can put my nose into other students files haha, if you want me to try when I am at school tomorrow I will be glad to ask.

That would be amazing if you could ask, just about if letters are sent or not. I have her number, but I knew it was the busy end of semester so i've been hesitant to call. If you cant of course no biggie! And good luck on your finals!

Hey, yeah the letters are sent out. If you haven't gotten anything I would advise calling, because either way you should have gotten a letter. You will be ok calling, don't worry about that. Hope you find some things out!

I know no one will probably check this board again, but does anyone know what the tuition is like for the duration of the program? I haven't really heard anything concrete. And are there any classes offered during the summer? Or is it strictly a 2.5 yr program?
