Illinois NCLEX testing centers

Nursing Students NCLEX

Hi! Does anyone know if the Continental Testing Services in Illinois are open and processing applications? I applied two weeks ago and haven't heard back. I am waiting for my ATT card so I can schedule my NCLEX.

Also wondering if any Illinois testing centers are open and what the wait time is? I am hoping to test and pass by July because I need to pass before my official start date at work. I tried emailing the lady in charge and it replied with an automated response saying CTS is closed until May 31st due to the Governor's restrictions but then on the CTS site it says the office will be working from home.

ANY help at all would be greatly appreciated because I am stressing out about not testing in time.

Hi there! I am also applying out of state for IL licensing and am yet to hear anything. Does anyone know what the processing times have been like on average? Their website says to reach out if in 10 business days you haven't gotten your ATT but I don't know if that is delayed due to Covid. Let me know if you find out any other info!

Update! I got my ATT today (June 5th) . I applied in IL and my paperwork was all received May 29th. Really quick turnaround time! Only took me 5 business days. I am scheduled to test next week.

Hey! Can I ask exactly what date you submitted your application in May?

May 8th is when I submitted the online application!

Hi all! So I took the NCLEX this morning and was wondering if anyone had any experience with how quickly their CTS portal displayed Pass? Just trying to figure out if I will get my results first from CTS or if I need to wait the 48 hours to see my quick results on Pearson. Let me know if anyone has experience with this! Thanks.

You can do the Pearson vue trick. Google it for more info. Congratulations.

Those who took their tests on the weekend had to wait the full 48 (business) hours to get results. Which means you might get them Tuesday on CTS as they are closed Saturdays and Sundays. You'd probably have better luck watching Pearson for your quick results to pop up, but to even purchase those is takes 2 days to populate too.

The trick works though!

Thanks for the info! It's a bummer to have to wait through the weekend but it's OK! I tried the trick and my results are on hold which I have read doesn't mean anything. I finished the test in under an hour which I guess causes them to like rewatch the tapes and look for cheating. I will just keep trying the trick until hopefully something changes!

My test was on hold too for a bit, try again tonight. I think I was able to do the trick at like 6pm after I took the test and I was scheduled to take it at noon (finished very quickly too).

Northwestern Memorial in downtown Chicago. I applied, applied, applied since December. I didn't have any of my applications looked at or anything and then the second week of March, I got a call asking for an interview. It is very difficult to get a job as a new grad in Chicago.

All I can suggest is apply to as many positions as possible and turn on Indeed and Glassdoor job notifications for the positions you want. Even apply for positions you aren't qualified for, the worst they can do is deny you. I even applied to jobs that said "suggested experience 1-2 years", hoping to hear back from them and at least get some interview practice. I applied to close to 100 jobs and heard back from ONE. While applying, I applied for hospitals near my school and in my hometown, to help get interview practice ? It helped A TON!

Where are you applying? You got this, don't give up!

hi! not sure if you can still see this but I have an interview on Monday at northwestern with the managers. I made it past the first one that screens through HR. Do you have any advice? It is on a specialty unit so should I expect patient scenarios to do with my specialty? thanks ?
