You must be pretty passionate about this to actually go and protest about circumcision. It's a very common practise in many parts already. Do you want it all stamped out, is this your goal?

YES. Even a ceremonial pin-pr**k to draw a drop of blood from girls' genitals is illegal with no religious exception. Boys deserve equal protection.
80% of the world's families do not circumcise.

The United States is the only Western nation which practices routine circumcision for non-religious purposes.cheers,
because MD's can be reimbursed for it - and people have been hoodwinked into believing that it's a good thing because of this. I have read that it has an adverse effect on sensation on the nether regions - I can't understand why people would want that for their kids -is it the Puritan coming out ? Good luck with the protest!
It seems to be cultural here. Religion and culture are very intertwined however, I daresay most Jews or Muslims aren't particularly 'religious' per say. I think the rates in the U.S. are decreasing.

but it is a religious ceremony, i think it would be discrimination to make it illegal

Female genital cutting is outlawed in the US and Canada without religious exemption.
The protest went well. Ambassador Lewis and the $100 a plate guests definitely saw and discussed our messages:
"450,000 US men who died of AIDS were circumcised at birth"
and
"Circumcision is not an AIDS vaccine"
