:uhoh3: SO IVE BEEN APPLYING FOR JOBS BUT WANT TO START OFF AT A HOSPITAL I AM 12 WEEKS PREGNANT TOMORROW AND ONT WANT TO DO HARD LABOR (tHREATENED MISCARRIAGE):eek: I DONT WANT TO DO A NURSING HOM BECAUSE THE ON I TRAINED AT WAS A LIVIN NIGHTMARE PLEASE HELP I DONT KNO WHAT TO DO......ALSO.....I AM TAKING MY NURSING PRE REQ AT A COMMUNITY COLLEGE;)

Perhaps you could try assisted living home. There still is some lifting but not quite as hard labor as a nursing home.

Do you think they would pay the same as everyone else? And wen i get a job off when shud i tell them im pregnant?

Good luck to you and congrats on the baby. If I were you I would try getting a job in home care because they can work around your school schedule and it will be a lot easier labor wise. I hope that you have better luck then I have. I am currently 26 weeks pregnant and have been out of work for almost 4 months and I am a CNA also.

No do not tell them you are pregnant until they hire you. If you tell them that you are pregnant in the interview they can make some excuse not to hire you even if it is against the law.

Home care would be a nice choice for you. Don't tell the interviewer you are pregnant until after you are hired, and congratulations on your baby. I am currently 32 weeks pregnant.

1st off I HOPE you do not spell like that in real life ! Take the CAPS off and pay attention to what you are typing.

It is hard to read your posts. Get into the habit of typing correctly and accurately. Sorry to scold you.

2nd, If you want to get into a Hospital, take a desk job. Then after your baby look to switch to a CNA job.

I am sorry, you will be lifting and if you think that you won't as a CNA you are wrong !

Also, If they ask if you are Preggo, you better tell them the truth. Just do not offer the info.

If they ask if there is a reason you might not be able to lift things or stand on your feet for long periods of times (which is part of the job) You BETTER tell them you are preggo.

otherwise you will have lied and will be out of a job faster then you can sit down. And probly be outcast to that facility for life, and maybe others as well.
