Hi, anyone who was also moved by IHNA from Melbourne Campus May 22, 2017 intake to Perth Campus July 10, 2017 IRON intake? I am quite worried because my AHPRA elegibility letter will expire on October 25,2017 though IHNA assured me that the certificate will be ready on September 20 so I don't have to worry according to them. I just want to know from anyone if IHNA does process the certificate post IRON bridging program that fast as they promised? I am really quite worried because it would only be one month before my elegibility letter will expire.

IHNA lost accreditation. They where caught taking classes illegally. So no more value for IHNA certificates. Maybe they will come up with new name and college and do the same crap work. Be careful with your investments.
So far, IHNA is still in the list of accredited program providers of AHRA. May I know, the link where you got the news? I requested to be moved to August batch in Perth because I do'nt have visa yet..
Registered Nurse Re-entry to Practice Program in Australia
They say the re entry program has been taken off. This is wrong. IRON course is going to change in to EPIQ. Re entry and EPIQ are somewhat same. There won't be much students in re entry program so they posted it their. They are shady organisation. As they don't want a chaos, they have posted this in their re entry program. This is a business tactic. If your agent is not money hungry, he will tell you the truth. My agent is in Melbourne and has adviced me to change college to be safe. Yes IHNA is still in the AHPRA list , but only till November. I called up couple of agents, they all said the same.
I'm trying to find a current student in IHNA who could give me more info. And who wants to go to perth... very less jobs and hospitals there. Victoria or NSW, nothing else. You have to do your own research rather than believing everything you agent says!
Thank god on the information.

IHNA IRON program is still in NBA approved bridging program list and their program expires in 30 November. So stop disseminating wrong information.
In my case, I dont have choice but to stick with IHNA for the August intake in Perth campus because my OET and AHPRA LOE will expire on October this year. But I do have Plan B, if ever IHNA wont be able to keep my slot for the august batch because they have a lot of students and the slot is limited, FYI my VISA is still pending due to additional medical test at ST. LUKES, but hopefully will receive my visa before July ends, then I have no choice but to transfer to another school, Im also eyeing on ACN (Australian College of Nursing) for their September batch.
I'm not spreading bogus comments. I called them and got a shady reply. I'm just passing the information bcoz I think students spend a fortune to do this course. So do you know if IHNA is doing EPIQ after their iron expairs. Just don't say something and leave, substantiate it with your right knowledge. As if it will help students to save gaurd their future. I also wish the news is not right , not because like you I'm working for IHNA, because I have friends who is going through bad times bcoz of these changes.
Anyways I wish everyone a safe investment for future
Thanks
Heloo Anand,
First of all I don't work for IHNA. I am at Cairns doing postgraduate in Medicine. I went through the website after seeing your comment. The last batch of IHNA is starting in August. And I am quite sure they will not enroll any student once their license for IRON program with AHPRA expires.
As long as IHNA IRON program is in NBA list and any student getting certificate before IHNA license expires, it would not be a problem I think. So ask your friend not to worry. Just make sure he or she gets certificate before their accreditation expires with IHNA. I hope I understand what I mean to say. Send me email at [email protected] if u got any information worth sharing with me.
I will call IHNA on Monday to see if my slot for August batch is still available. If not, I have to transfer another school, repeat my OET and reapply to AHPRA for LOE. I will just ask for a refund. No choice because those documents of mine will expire October -_-

It actually depends on you as well. You will have requirements to be fulfilled and sent back to IHNA prior to them sending your course completion to AHPRA. It also depends on where you are clinically placed. After completing the clinicals, you will have to submit all the requirements by IHNA through mail. This is of course when your campus is in Perth and you are placed somewhere in QLD. And this takes time 1-2 days if you have it as priority mail. Another option is if you deliver the documents personally back to the campus if your planning to go back. This is an easier and faster way to hand them the documents for faster checking. Let me share you my timeline to have a little bit of picture on this process.
September 15 - October 14 - Theory class IHNA, Perth
October 17 - October 21 - Aged Care, Perth
October 21 - Flight to Brisbane - Bundaberg for Clinical placement
October 24 - November 18 - Acute clinical, QLD (November 15 - Submitted reregistration to AHPRA. Yes you can submit your documents 2 -3 weeks prior to course completion. This way, AHPRA will just have to wait for the graduate list from the school. The CO will send you an email saying that you are missing a document which is the graduate list mentioned above.)
November 19 - Flew back to Perth
November 21 - Documents Submitted to IHNA for checking
November 30 - IHNA submits the graduate list to AHPRA for registration.
December 3 - Registered with AHPRA.
Hope this helps. Goodluck! Regards to Jean if you're going to IHNA perth! :)
No offense, but I really don't understand what you're trying to say. :|
IHNA is still functional as of this very moment. For further information, don't rely on forums, threads, people or even me for that matter. Call them, clarify. Check AHPRA if IHNA is still an approved NMBA study.
