first at EC, how did they record your grade for those exams if you weren't an "official" student at the time? Anyone know how that works? I plan on studying and taking NC 1 before enrolling so I can save time.

I took NC1 and NC2 before enrolling and they recorded my grades as the letter grade received for each subject. It was recorded the as the same way as it was after I enrolled and took NC3. It just couldn't take anymore nursing concepts until I enrolled.

one thing that has not been mentioned is that in order to register and pay for the exams you have to set up a free account with ec. after that when you take a exam it will be listed under exam scores.

I've been enrolled in Excelsior twice. The first time I took tests before enrolling and don't remember them sending me my unofficial transcripts until after I enrolled. By that time, there was a lot of stuff, including the tests.
They have/had an option called the credit bank. For a fee, they will record all your various stuff in one place without you even having to enroll. This is a good thing for people who have been all over the place but haven't graduated from one particular program. Gather all your credits in one place so you can show it to someone like an employer without having to get out a pile of papers from different places. Truthfully, don't know if Excelsior still does this service this way anymore. You can visit their website http://www.excelsior.edu or call and ask an advisor about this.
