Hi all!
I got an 84 on my teas on the first try. I'm scheduled to retake it on July 17 (a month after I took the first one) because my program requires an 87 and above to be competitive. I was wondering if anyone has been in the same boat as me, as in retook the teas for a higher score. Did you achieve the score you want? Did any of your areas fall?
Thanks in advance!

I have not taken the TEAS myself, but I have had friends do a retake. I had one friend score in the 60s and was able to pull up their score to the high 70s or low 80s by getting a tutor and focusing especially on the areas they scored the lowest in. Most people I know did improve, but the higher your TEAS score is the harder it may be to raise your score and the higher the chances that an area may drop. Study hard and I wish you the best of luck!

I did not retake it, but I have a friend who took it and they scored 65 the first time, studied more, and the second time scored 85% Good Luck!

I took it the first time and scored a 73.3% without studying. I just retook it and scored a 78 after studying for two weeks hardcore. I was hoping for an 80, but a 78 is good enough for Spring semester at my school to get in (especially with my GPA.) You can do it. Just focus on your weakest areas and do the ATI practice tests. That's what helped me the most. My weakest area was the science (I haven't taken A&P 2 yet ), but studying not only helped me pull up my science, but my reading and math score as well. Good luck!

I'm still in awe that you're retaking it. You rocked it! I have all the confidence that you can do this to get into your program of choice! Good luck!
