I just checked my junk mail and found the email. I have not purchased it yet or taken the test. Looks like we need to take the test prior to our first day of class.

Kelsey, I took the TEAS twice. First time I got a 74 and 2nd time I got an 82.7. I recommend buying the practice tests and study guide on the ATI website. I would also recommend taking the actual test twice if you can afford it. The second time I was more comfortable with format and scored much higher. You can also search on quizlet for practice questions. Try to aim overall for an index of 26 to have a good shot at getting in. 26 was my goal, but I ended up just short of that. Happy to say I did get in for the September class, so very excited! Good luck to you!

If you've retaken the ATI teas, did you score higher?
First time I took it I got a 74 and second time (3 weeks later) I got an 82.7.

I registered for the August 21st class and had to select fall and not summer quarter. Originally tried entering the code under fall and it said invalid code. So all figured out now, thanks!

Never mind... I guess you just enter the code when registering I was searching the schedule and couldn't find anything that way, my mistake!

Did any of you guys sign up for one of the CPR classes thru CBC? I can't seem to find where these classes are that are listed on the blue sheet they gave us. I went in like I normally would do to register for a class and I can't find these classes.... Let me know if you successfully registered and where you did it, thanks!

40+ and Considering Nursing School
I'm 43, took prerequisites for a year and a half, and was just accepted to an ADN program at a local community college. There were around 180 applicants and they selected 52. I am still in shock and thrilled that I was selected. I'm a stay at home mom of a 3 year old and never did that great in school. After being laid off from my accounting job I decided to finally take the leap and do what I have always wanted to do. It was scary going back to school and I was often the oldest in my class, but it just motivated me to try harder and succeed. Don't let your age hold you back from living your life. You only live once so if you know what will make you happy you should go for it. Good luck!
