If you have electronic book, do you always buy the hard copy?

I'm thinking of Tabers and Davis Drug Guide and possibly RN Notes. The textbooks I know I'll want a hard copy of for studying......but the others I'm wondering if I really need both. What are your thoughts?

I like hard copies better just because i can find the material easier if I am just trying to look something up quickly. Plus I don't like to drag my computer around everywhere with me along with my books. As far as not knowing if you will need both I don't know what to tell you I haven't started my program yet but this is what I do when I'm not sure which study guide I want. I go to the book store and take both books (if possible) and sit down and go through them. I list the pros and the cons about each book. It makes it very easy to chose once you can physically see what is alike and different about each. Plus if you still find yourself confused go online and read reviews about both of them usually people give very good reviews about why they didn't or did like the book. Hope this helps.

I prefer books in hard copy because in the past, i have come across issues with electronic books. one of my instructors this semester would have us do quizzes each week on the material read and the questions wouldn't be basic things if you were to just read over it once..you actually had to look for the answer in the text and it was sooo difficult to constantly scroll up and down and hit the button to flip to the next page. more hassle than it is worth in my opinion. also, if my electricity were to evr go out or if there was an issue with my internet company, i would be basically screwed and would have to go to the library on campus.

I was without internet access for a long time. Not a good situation when you are taking an internet class and/or using an electronic book. But I doubt I would go through the added expense of buying both especially since the electronic version is time-limited.
