a sad show does that mean you are sensitive/compassionate/have empathy for others??
I was just thinking that today when I started balling during "The Critical Hour" on Discovery Health. A baby was born to new parents with a terminal illness. It showed the parents grieving when they were being told and there I was.....
I ask because one of the things I question about myself (and others question about me) is whether I have enough compassion and care for others to be a nurse. I can be pretty unsympathetic in real life.
Do you think if I ball during these medical shows that I may have what it takes to be a nurse and just don't realize it? I feel stupid asking this question, but wanted to know opinions....:)
And NO, it has nothing to do with hormones!!! I cry for a lot of things on TV!!

Your crying is just a release of your emotions. We all have different triggers. It is a stress reliever. Just know that it is part of you and
accept it as part of your coping measures.
