Hello there guys! I am just confused by these IELTS UKVI thing. I am planning to work in uk and i already passed the academic ielts exam last april 18 2015, but as of april 6 2015 uk visa and immigration said that proffesionals seeking work in UK must undergo IELTS UKVI exam. I have read an article from ielts ukvi that any result of ielts on or before april 22 2015 will be accepted by UKVI provided that it was taken in one of the approved testing centers of ielts british columbia and all requirements shall be received by UK visa and inmigration. I already emailed UKVI and is awaiting for their reply. Anyone of you guys have the same scenario as mine? I just find it expensive and time consuming if i will be advised to take ielts ukvi, its like i am back were i started from.
Second, one friend of mine said that if i already passed the ielts exam before (april 18 in my case) i just need to have a score of 4 in IELTS UKVI because it will be used for UK visa and immigration. Unlike the IELTS that requires a obs of 7, which will be used as a requirement for the CBT/NMC? Does anyone have any knowledge regarding my concerns? Please help.
