have you any doubt whether to take participant in IELTS or TOEFL? The mainstream world's English-speaking universities now recognize both IELTS and TOEFL scores as verification of English capability. On the surface, the both tests are very parallel: they both consist of four part – listening, reading, writing and speaking – and both test applicant on their skill to use English in academic condition. As a student, how are you intended to identify which test to take? The answer eventually depends on what you have calculated , and what things you perform best. Here is a go down of the five most vital variation between IELTS and TOEFL.

It really depends, but if you're also seeking truths about which is easier? I'll say IELTS. In TOEFL, your answers in speaking are to be record and specific person will grade/rate your response. In IELTS, in speaking part, you're talking to a person, it's like an interview (according to a lot of friends who took IELTS). I would say, there's a lot of time to prepare for your response and speak or respond in IELTS than TOEFL, which means there's a chance that you would deliver your response completely and concise. The thing with TOEFL is you need to have an efficient skill when it comes to taking down notes. If someone will disagree with what I said about the two, I will 100% respect their opinion :yes:

Hello! Happy New YEar! yes I did, I've taken these two, and I prefer IELTS because I'm more comfortable speaking with a person and TOEFL doesn't offer that kind of speaking test and my nerves just consumed me when I reached the speaking part in TOEFL, therefore I tend to blabber a bit and not wondering why I got 24 for speaking,haha And as soon as I got my TOEFL score I went ahead and register for IELTS and prepared for a month and I passed the BON requirement, thank God :)

I've been studying since last month for IELTS. What book did you use? I already passed NCLEX 3 months ago and would like to endorse my license in Washington. Where did you take IELTS? Happy New Year!

Omg! Really?! Im so happy for you :) i will try ielts this time and see if i can pass it because the speaking section of toefl is really frustrating i got 22 :( i really wanna do the nclex soon thats why im so upset when i failed toefl
