So I feel like a complete idiot! I sent in my application for my license and all like the end of last month. Some of my friends have been getting their ATT letter and have scheduled their NCLEX date. So I started going through the paperwork that we got with the application and to make a long story short....I realize you're suppose to go to the www.vue.com site to pay and register to take the NCLEX!! AND send in the money and registration form with your application, the one I sent out weeks ago! Sooooo glad this was pointed out! Well at least I know now why I haven't gotten my ATT letter, lol. I sent the payment and all out yesterday, hopefully I'll hear something soon. Anyway, just wanted to share my stupidity!

Haha, that's okay. We all do silly things. But hmm, so your school didn't tell you what all you should do? My school gave us a handout of all the things we had to do before graduating and how to do it.

Usually the people at school go over the application process with students, so not necessarily all your fault!
We went over the paperwork during the last lab class but it was really quick because it was the last lab and everyone wanted to leave. The only thing our instructor went over was how to fill out the application and that's it. The only thing that was said about the payment was how much it was....nothing about having to go to the site and pay, etc etc. Oh well. The students I know that have their NCLEX scheduled were in another lab with a different teacher...she obviously explained things a little better, lol.

Hey don't feel bad. When I first applied to nursing school (I graduated in May of this year) I scheduled my placement testing for one of my choices and completely forgot about it. A week later I looked at my schedule and was like $@#!!%#. :) Luckily I got into my two other choices!
LOL...see perfect example, the human brain can only hold so much! Well good news...there's a few people I have found out about that recently paid also and got their ATT letter about a week later. So I shouldn't have to wait too long.
