1. Musculoskeletal: ORIF Hip fracture: Client is a 74 year old Caucasian woman Jackie Rowan admitted and subsequently operated on for Hip fracture. She was on Kaua'i on vacation with her long-term lesbian partner and fell attempting to hike down a slippery trail. She is practicing Jehovah's Witness. She is post-op day #1. Other than a history of osteoporosis, she is healthy. She is expressing concerns over finances/whether insurance will pay for an out of state surgery/recuperation etc.
So far I am thinking in priority: 1. Risk for pain related to recent hip surgury 2. Risk for infection related to surgery 3. Risk for immobility related to post surgery 4. Risk for anxiety related to financial concerns. I want to make sure they are in the right order in regards to priority. Thank you for any suggestions.
