Hello! Is there anybody who will be attending International College of Health Sciences (ICHS) in Florida in 2022?

Hi everyone! I'm planning on attending Febuary 2024. Do you guys know if there's a facebook group created for this cohort? Also any tips for the APA test? I'm taking it this Friday!

Hi Dani ,

I just reviewed a lot of you tube videos for different things like diseases, nursing fundamental type stuff, pharmacology. I reviewed pharmacology math cause there will be some on the test. I did not pass the pharmacology though LOL...

I heard not alot of people pass it. Do you remember what pharm asked for? Like was it math or side effects? Etc LOL

I think Friday was the last day but honestly I just took their ap exam to skip the 4 semesters or 4 months of refresher courses and I don't think I did great. Im a lvn with a lot if experience so I might have put the answer I would do vs. text book but not stressing. There is so much to do so ill be ready by February.

I also has a associates already but they said it wasnt enough credits so I am doing it again but I have my final today so I could be ready but looks like Ill be in the February . But yes apply! I want to get everything just done and ready so I can roll in

I saw in another post someone wrote this ----  I hate to break it to you, but my friend called the CA board of RN today and ICHS (international college of health sciences) is NOT approved for California RN licenses and the board is NOT approving any applications from that school as of 2024.

You can call and confirm with the California board of nursing (RN). They will tell you.

While this is school is not part of Operation Nightingale, they are facing other issues with failing most students and a very low pass rate unless they fail most of the students. This is highly unethical and a violation, that's why they're on hold and under investigation.

The board will tell you this if you call now in 2024.

***DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THIS IS TRUE? I TOO WANTED TO APPLY FOR FEB 2024

I am a current student. This has not been announced to us.  But when you graduate from a school outside of California, you get your license in that schools state so YES you will still get your license. You only endorce to California. So if this persons friend is saying they tried to get their license in California instead of Florida, then they would not be able to get their license. They must be licensed in Florida First then apply to endorse their license.

I have friends who have recently gotten their license endorsed with no issues.

So you must get your license in Florida because the school is in Florida. After you have your license, you pay $399 and endorse to California.  No you can not graduate from out of state and take your license in California. You endorse your license.

Good luck! How you don't lose a ton of $$ and a chance to take the NCLEX. I'm not willing to take that gamble. I don't care what that school says, IM OUT!!

Best of luck on your education journey

I will call them myself because as a student I would have already gotten this information so I will ask myself about endorsing our license after we recieve our Florida License which is the proper way to do it.

Do you mind giving us an update when you call? I think there is some confusion because I agree with you. You have to get your florida license and take the NCLEX in florida then pay to have it endorsed to California.

Yes please update since you're a student yourself you can tell us what you hear first hand.. I'm all enrolled starting in Feb and this is my last chance to go back to school without having to redo all my science classes. I also sent the BON in CA an email inquiring about this since it's so hard to get a live person on the phone.
