Hello! Is there anybody who will be attending International College of Health Sciences (ICHS) in Florida in 2022?

Im not sure why. I tried to call and the person who answered said no one is available to take calls.
OMG are you serious? Now that is crazy. We already have a hard time trying to find them why would they cancel anybody?
You are like the 2nd person I've heard got canceled.

Yes, the lady that was doing clinical scheduling said if dates are not scheduled and completed before that Feb 3 date we will fail and risk being removed from the program but no one is assisting in getting dates scheduled or what to even do. I've been trying to share my experiences with others but the same is happening to me now. Im shocked there is no email, call, nothing as to why they canceled the dates

In our zoom classes I've heard at least a dozen people complaining how their dates are being canceled and they can not reach anyone to ask why. Thats why I was asking how to schedule the ob/peds days. Maybe I did something wrong. They do not tell you what option to pick out of the 3 available so its like a guessing game

Yes. They sent a whole letter out to everyone. It's ridiculous. Especially when they have previous cohorts who have not done clinicals yet and still trying to schedule. So we will get removed while others were able to go to the next semester. It's BS.

Yes, I have a coworker in the cohort ahead of me and she had that happen. I was scheduling clinicals and she was still trying to schedule her days. When scheduling for OB/PEDS do you need to do 2 clinical and 2 post orientation clinical?

Wow! We are going to get through this but I am not recommending this program to anyone anymore. Too much.
Big FYI!!
I called and asked when days for clinicals will be opening and was told it is still to be determined.
As for Cancelations. Many students were putting their personal email as their email address instead of ICHS email. You can not use your personal email. It must be your ICHS email or they will automatically cancel you for those days. If you used your ICHS email and still got canceled, Please reach out to ICHS. She is a great resource at advocating for students. Hope this is OK with the Admins.
Make sure you use your ICHS email for EVERYTHING dealing with ICHS.

They changed the amount of days needed again and that is why some days were canceled for me. It did give me a scare that is for sure. The new people doing the clinicals were really great at getting back to me. I was shocked how quick and all is good for my clinicals. I know there are many other classmates that are upset they can not get days scheduled. I will relay. this message to them, maybe they can help. As soon as they opened to schedule, I schedule days immediately. so when they changed the amount of days needed I did not think that applied to me as I had all my days scheduled already. Just a lot of confusion. Really better communication and explanation should be given. So far all admin has been great when you reach out to them.
Hi guys! I’ve been so stressed due to a lot of waitlist programs in Cali and because of friends I found ICHS. Im here to see others opinions. Im planning to make it on the feb 2023. I turned in my application and I was told that I’m missing a class which is I can choose between philosophy or religion. I’m trying to complete that now and paid 158 at StraighterLine the school I was referred to for the missing pre reqs. Then I inquired about the LVN test where If you pass you don’t have to take pharmacology and another class. I was told by the finance dept that in order for me to apply for the date of exam I have to put down half of the 3500 hundred deposit so it would 1200 this week and the rest the following week before the test. Any advice for anyone who took the program already?
I graduated from ICHS, and it was a very hard program and self discipline. I worked full time and I couldn’t tell you how I did it. I do recommend not working because the amount of class work is a lot and proctored exams can get overwhelming bc you will constantly have to ask for the day off. Clinicals wasn’t bad for me because I flew out and did my clinicals all at once. Which was about 1 month of working mon-sat for 8 hrs. But that was during covid. Now that everything was back to normal clinical is supposed to be done every semester, so you can be making multiple trips. Flights and hotel can get very expensive so I advise to connect with other students. I would highly advise to meet and become friends with a lot of students so you guys can help each other during school. Exams are extremely hard. You must have a lot of time to study. They use to give hours towards clinicals if you are an lvn but not anymore. Just know you will be spending a lot of money on boarding in Fl. The school can be difficult to get in touch with and they all communicate through email only. It’s rare that you see or talk to them. You can test out of pharm and fundamentals which I did then I started 2nd semester. Best of luck to those starting here. When I saw my diploma l was in disbelief bc I know how hard I worked for it. I cried, it was such a roller coaster ride doing the RN program. I wish you all nothing but success and nothing comes east. Good luck to you all.

They have taken on way to many students with not enough sites to offer Clinicals. So they give us the scary tactic by telling as due dates when they're not ready for us to even accomplish what we need for this Semester. It is very irritating for all of us.
