..particularly mine.
New grad with no job. I feel like I have/am doing everything possible. I have gone to job fairs, networked to the best of my ability, made calls to recruiters, dropped off my resume in person to HR, I graduated in December, have my license, am enrolled and working on my BSN which I will finish in August, have a decent resume and great GPA, applied to LTAC and psych, Im a pleasant, friendly, likeable person... The only thing I havent done yet is attempted to contact managers..but I don't know how that will be recieved. My thinking is..what do I have to lose?
God grant me the patience to not give up! I love people, I love helping people, I love nursing and I just want a chance to prove myself. Heck, I would work for free just to prove that I have the skill and ability to do the job.
Right now, I'm looking at bank jobs (previous career) and volunteering until I get my BSN.
Thanks for listening, folks. It's a tough market for new grads, especially ADN.

Don't give up! I can't imagine how you must be feeling right now. Perhaps you need to step your game up and treat your job search like a job. Get up, get dressed, and physically go and fill out applications and hand in your resume. You will get alot of "no new grads" but someone, somewhere will give you a chance. I did this 3 years ago and it worked! Pray and ask God to guide you.
