Too much? I work as a medical transcriptionist, so I'm really good at the terminology. I purchased a physiology and micro book and have been studying a lot. If I take classes from 4 to 8:30 Mon - Thurs (lab included), I can take both, but I work full time, flexible hours. Does this seem unreasonable? Once I take these two classes, I can apply to the nursing program and start getting my name in (if I don't get selected, my name goes in extra for the lottery each time I apply as a qualified student).
Thanks for any advice!

I also was thinking about taking two science classes. I asked for advice and it was 50/50. Some people said they prefer to take science classes one at a time. Other people said they took two or more science classes and they managed it. So I think that it all depends on what you think that you can handle.

I took micro and physiology & the labs together and got As in both. I wasn't working nor did I have a family to take care of. I was also taking chemistry and developmental psych at the same time. It took a ton of studying but I managed. Good luck in whatever you choose!

Just do it. Last semester I took Anatomy, Physiology, Chemistry, and an English class, and a lab for the PGY class and I did fine. 3.6 GPA for that semester. I think what topped off the hardness was the English class, because amidst all of the science I was writing papers all the time, and I hated it.
It's usually not a question of if you can do it, it's a question of if you have the time to do it. Even if you have a busy schedule you should still be able to pull it off. Sacrificing free time is what everyone fears, they just usually don't admit it.
