I used remar review and still failed

:( I used the remar review and failed..I'm upset I really thought I passed this time..I felt good going in..idk what happen..

Now I have to start fresh again and I'm lost idk where to start what review to use what to study ugh I am tired of studying!!!!!!

Im sorry to hear you weren't successful with NCLEX. Don't give up and keep trying. You'll passed in due time.

I know of 3 people who used ReMar review and passed. Out of the three students, only one solely used ReMar to prepare for the 2nd retake. Note: all three examinees were at least second to fourth time test takers.

I believe the ReMar developer recommended utilizing supplemental material such as Saunders and Lippincott for additional content and questions. As examinees, we can't cover everything. I know everything is covered in Saunders; its just an overwhelming book. My "C" student classmate solely used Saunders for 30 consecutive days of review and passed however, that's her and not me.

I personally know one of the authors of Saunders, attended her NCLEX review, along with others classmates, some passed and others we were unsuccessful with NCLEX. She IS an EXCELLENT instructor however, we all learn differently. Thereafter, we individually utilized a variety of NCLEX review material. A few used Kaplan others used Hurst and some attended Martin, Excell, etc. live reviews.

I'm using Hurst, ReMar, Lippincott, and Mary Ann Hogan's Comprehensive Review for NCLEX-RN for supplemental content and questions. I know we all have various learning styles and what I'm utilizing may not work for another student. I wish you the best and will keep you in my prayers. Stay focused and go conquer NCLEX.

Failed 2 times now for me. I have a family that's counting on me, looming, horrific student loans to figure out and general responsibilities like a mortgage, etc. I registered for #3 and now nearly $1000 in JUST NCLEX registration fees, I'm so spent. I have no idea what to do. I got near passing on every category last time. Do I have to get Above on every one? I took Hurst, borrowed the QBank from Kaplan from friends and again, failed twice. I'm really at a low point. Should I get the full Kaplan for myself? Does anyone have any advice who failed twice? I'm terrified to take it again and disappoint myself and everyone around me who is counting on me. :(

I feel you Nurse-to-be.:yes: I am in the same boat. I worked as a Clinical Tech/Clinical Partner in the ER and just the other day I was fired because of my "abusive use" of taking days off. I worked there for 5 years!! :no: I went from full time to part time just to get ready for the NCLEX. I didn't pass:facepalm: I am a little depressed :down:. I just have to get over it and try again. This will be my third time:banghead: taking it. I know you must feel horrible and kinda defeated, however if you were able to make it pass nursing school, this is just one more step before victory! ;) I wish you luck and for anyone who is reading this, don't give up!! :up: We are so close!!

Just remember Maslow Hierarchy of needs. Physiological needs is the highest priority then safety! 1. Maintaining airway and respiration 2. maintaining circulation 3. nutrition/elimination 4. sleep. If its a safety question focus on a safety answer. If it's a communication question focus on the clients feeling in the answers by remembering the communications tools for example: being silent and offering self. If it's a teaching question you always want to focus on the answer that focuses on client readiness to learn. Also remember you always assess prior to initiating or implementing.

I just want to encourage everyone to keep their confidence and determination up. Like teacher08 I know someone who only used Remar and passed NCLEX RN on her first go round. That is the reason I am trying it after failing 3 times. I have used all of the NCLEX reviews mentioned and I can say from experience no matter what you program you chose. There will be information that you have never seen before, I have accepted I will not be prepared for everything. But what I have learned is that this program is helping me to organize all that information that I have gathered. To me it is worth it so far that I am able to sit down and read my Saunders without wanting to jump out of the window. My priority skills have also drastically improved. I am not shocked that people will failed with ReMar, same as folks who fail with Kaplan, Hurst, NCSBN, etc. Just not their time I guess but keep encouraging yourself and others. I am willing to study with anyone that is why I signed up for this website.

I failed 3x and after assessing myself from the PERFORMANCE RESULT -where you get the near passing / below passing I figured out my wrakness was test taking skills strategy. So I didi questions left and right, 200-300/ day, read and understand the rationales.

Used

SAUNDERS CD -Cognitive Format 50qs and Alternate Format 50qs / day

NCLEX3500 - ALTENATE FORMAT 50-100 q's / day

NCSBN 3week course - I make sure I finished 1 'category' of questions/ day like 160 q's / day.

And if I don't understand the rationale, I read saunders.

AND ALSO, If you understand your content well enough, the STOP doing content. ANSWER QUESTIONS AND QUESTIONS!!!

Yes, coz after 3 failed attempts and doing hurst for content - which I really loved, I realized my weakness is my test taking skills. so I made sure on my 4th attempt to do as much questions as possible. I know it's really tiring, frustrating at first but trust me, I've been there 4x already.

If you're tired of doing it then keep going. Be inspired of the thought that you don.t want to do this stuff all over again. You spend too much already and you wanna be an RN after this exam.

I did not spend much money on my 4th attempt. Just the NCSBN 3week course. Coz I already have other resources for my 4th attempt.

I think remar sounds cocky. I would not like having her as my teacher. Sorry you did not pass. I just took my test yesterday. I watched Michael Linaires. In Jesus Name I passed. I did PVT did you do that?
