I took NCLEX today and it shut off after 174 questions

Published

I am going through all of the emotions right now. I felt blank when I left the testing facility, but the longer the night is going on the more I have convinced myself that I failed. I know I got the last question I answered correct, but I don't want to get my hopes up only to be crushed when I find out. I kind of want to try the Pearson Vue Trick but I don't want to get charged the $200 if it goes through. Do you have to submit your credit card information in order for the trick to work? Can anyone tell me what their thoughts are on the computer shutting off after 174 questions because it seems like most people that have passed, either passed with only 75 or the whole 265 questions. I don't know, I think it is torture that they make us wait like this!! Thanks in advance for any comments and support!! ♥️

You have to put in the wrong expiration date so it doesn't charge your card. Just calm down and take a deep breath. There's no assuming until you actually get your official results so stay positive. What did you use to prepare?

Thank you for responding. I used NCSBN 5 week plan, Saunders, and the NCLEX RN Mastery app. I have studied my butt off for this exam! Are you sure that if I enter the wrong exp date that it won't charge my card? Will the results be accurate if I do?

It won't charge it if you out the wrong expiration date but it'll send you a message stating your card was declined or "our records indicate..." The latter is a pretty good measure of if you passed and the former usually means you didn't pass but these are not 100% accurate. Like I said stay positive :)
