I was told I was hired. No one called me in 3 days. Please advice.

I was interviewed last week for on call LVN position on Tuesday. On Friday, they called me to come to tour of a building. DON spent an hour with me showing rooms and talking about work environment. She said HR would call me for background check.

As of Wednesday evening, no one has called me. What should I do? Please advice.

IMO it's a more legitimate offer than if your interviewer said they'd like you to work there...however, I still wouldn't stop searching until you sign the paperwork, just in case.

If they said you'd hear from them in a week, I'd give them a week before you call/email. It does take time for them to contact references--and most places DO contact them. Most will try to talk to the majority of them as well.
