My school just started the BSN program at a different location and since I didn't get into the ADN program, I looked into the BSN program. I only had to take two classes this fall semester and send in my application. Semester just ended and I passed my two classes, so I met all of the requirements to get into the program. They are taking 40 students and only 30 something applied. A few students actually ended up failing their entrance exam, so they are disqualified. That means probably less that 30 students applied. Since they take 40, does that mean I'm in?! I don't see any reason why I wouldn't be.

Wow, that's crazy! I haven't heard of any programs that can't fill seats! Is the program fully accredited yet?
That PROBABLY means you're in, but don't count your chickens until you have received that acceptance letter.

Fingers Crossed...Good Luck!
Runbaby....if they are just starting the program they probably not accredited yet. If the ADN program is accredited they probably have provisional accreditation they will be evaluated after the first class graduates.
Thank you! My semester would not be the first semester. They have a fall semester that just ended & they are the first group for the program. I just went on the schools website and found this.. "The baccalaureate program at Baker College is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education" and "Accredited by The Higher Learning Commission". So does this mean they are for sure accredited?

The location on Flint Road is accredited. Is that the one you are looking at? Each campus has to be accredited on it's own and I see this one has been accredited since 2012. So I am saying that's not your campus if you are only the second class of students. They base it on many factors and one is NCLEX pass rates. Since they don't have any they are not accredited.
Oh okay. I'm in Clinton Twp. So what would that mean for me? Will it be accredited?
