Hi, I am new to this website but wanted to post this because I feel more of you would understand my disappointment and sadness. I took the NCLEX-PN on Monday the 23rd. I tried the pearson vue trick and it lets me get to the cc page so I'm pretty sure I failed again. This was my fourth time taking it and I just feel so discouraged and upset. I've invested so much time and money into this exam that I feel exhausted. I am struggling financially and this test is just so expensive to keep re-taking. I am beginning to feel like I am wasting my time and I am now questioning if I should even attempt it again. I also graduated at the end of 2008 and it seems like it's getting harder and harder to remember things. My friends from school all passed on their first exam. I am the only one that hasn't passed and I feel dumb. I am not sure what else to do. I think maybe I shouldn't wait so long in between exams; I am really not sure. I am just really bummed.
I suggest you read the guidelines in answering questions in the Kaplan reviewer. Use the Saunders cd for the Q and A and always read the rationale. I passed the nclex-rn using only one reference(Saunders)) as my reviewer, I think it is more effective rather than using multiple reviewers by multiple authors. You can do it. Good luck!
I took my NCLEX-PN Tues 1/24/12. I shut off at 106 questions. Did the PVT got the good po-up two hours after the test. Weds morning 1/25/12 nursing board verified I had passed!!! PRAISE JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I studied with the Kaplan PN qbank/booklet only. I walked out knowing I had passed! Kaplan had prepared me VERY WELL!! They say the Kaplan questions are harder than the NCLEX questions. I swear by it and will definitely use it again when I take my RN boards!!!!
I PASSED!!!!You ask yourself what the question is asking and then determine whether the given answers are T/F statements to what the question is asking. It really seems like a 'no brainer' but I never attacked SATA that way.. I usually just looked at them like, ugh hate these things and never really stopped to break everything down. Good luck MorganRN2B2011, I know you've been studying like CRAZY, you remind me of myself. You'll do great, let us know how it goes!
