I am taking my NCLEX-PN on Tuesday

Hi everyone,

I got my ATT last night in an email so I immediately scheduled my test for the closest date to Christmas but not after...Guess what? Tuesday was the only date left in this month with the next available date not until around January 5th.

I had a review class/boot camp on Nov 20-22 which was GREAT. My goal is to take and pass the test by Christmas. With all the drama my class went through, things are finally starting to come through for me. I am doing pretty well on my home study review CD. My scores suck but according to graphing my results as my boot camp instructor taught us, I would pass with 85 questions.

Does anyone know if we can go online and get the results or do we have to wait for the actual paper and license from the state? I want to get a JOB soon. I have a few places in mind like my doctor's office and the California Prison System... I am eager to get started. Whoo hoo!!!

Wishing you good luck as you prepare to test. If you are from Cali, no quick results. Takes a long time to get results according to many who have posted here. Again, good luck.

I'm from California, passed not to long ago. My friends are telling me that the waiting period right now for NCLEX results is around three weeks. If you want to work right away like most of my friends did, they drove up to the Sacramento office with their pass letter and paid for their license, got a permit to work while waiting for the real license to come in the mail. The actual license comes from Ohio, where it is put together I guess.

If you want to just send in the money for the license, it took me a month to get it back.

You'll do great on the test. What PN book/CD are u using to study for test. I am about to start the Endocrine System this week. I grad in April. Got any pointers.

If you want to work right away like most of my friends did, they drove up to the Sacramento office with their pass letter and paid for their license, got a permit to work while waiting for the real license to come in the mail. The actual license comes from Ohio, where it is put together I guess.

So if the waiting period is still the same, I should have my pass results by Christmas then I can drive up to Sacramento, pay for my license and get a temporary until the permanent comes in? I just want to be sure before my hubby takes time off from work. I could call the board also I guess.

I am really excited. I have been doing alright on the practice tests from a study CD but I am getting more nervous as Tuesday comes closer.
