so friday is the day that i take my state boards and i was wondering if any of yall have good advice.
So, you mean you only had 3 skills? Man...in NC the state exam is 5 skills!
Where I live, we get 3! Including handwashing.
I failed last time.. I got handwashing (passed) Pulse (passed) and dressing (failed) I also failed on Indirect care.. so I would fail anyways if I passed dressing. I've been working on Indirect care so I will be fine. I was just confused.
I hope I get the same skills or ROM instead of dressing. :)

Yes getting easy skills is the best !!! I was praying that I had good skills! you'll do a great job.
It's been quite some time since I took my CNA boards, but here's my advice:
Study the night before. However, the morning you go to test, relax. I know, easier said than done, but It really makes a difference. The expression "sleep on it" comes to mind:)
Eat a good breakfast. It'll really help you to concentrate!
Be sure to demonstrate or announce verbally about your hand washing technique. Very important.
Also, remember to explain everything you do, or plan to do, to the mock "patient".
Hope that helps, and Good Luck!
