If I take a 5 week A&P and nutrition class at a local cc over the summer befor lpn school starts in July could that count as credit or will I have to take the class over? .... and also, the lpn program is 1 year long and I was wondering if you go to school 1 year nonstop or is it equivalent to a college year?

Welcome!
These questions are best answered by the staff at the school you plan to attend. After all, it is the school that determines the schedule and calendar year that they utilize for the nursing program. In addition, only the people at your school would know whether they'd accept a five week A&P course.

For me A&P was a challenging class. I wish I had took it over the summer because it was tough and I passed but barely. Our program is 18 months. We go pretty much through the whole year with a few weeks off between semesters. We go through the summer too.
