I quit my job (long)

Boy, Extra Crispy, do I ever feel for you. I handed in my resignation about 2 weeks ago (did NOT know about the pay for 2 weeks notice thing- can you push for that after you've left??) from a horrifyingly similar job. You absolutely, without question, did the right thing. Hugs to you, I know all too well how this feels. (See "Bait & Switch" post!)

My town doesn't offer a whole lot options, either, which is one reason why this hospital can treat its nurses the way it does. But there is a vast universe of opportunites out there for you, and I am so glad you are not in a position where you had to stay, no matter what. There ARE better jobs out there, and from the sound of things, you might not have to look too far to find one.
