I have a question

Published

I want to know where I can get my CPR certification, and how long it takes to get it. I also want to know what you guys think about me being a volunteer at a hospital.

I live in Glendale Arizona

Specializes in ER/Trauma.

Get the American heart Association CPR certification - it's valid for two years ;)

I got mine done from my university health center.

And being a volunteer is always appreciated :)

Specializes in NICU, Psych, Education.

CPR is a one-day class, usually 4-8 hours long. Go here for a list of CPR class providers by zip code:

Volunteering at a hospital can be a great way to observe healthcare up close and get a feel for different careers before you make decisions.

Specializes in Long Term Care.

Most local community colleges have it, Emergency services for your area might have it, or you could check with your local fire department. It isn't expensive, (at least I don't think the 25.00 bucks I paid was expensive). Volunteers are always welcomea s far as I am concerned. :) welcome.
