I passed! Just completed my writing exam through UExcel and I passed with a "C". I thought that I completely bombed this one because writing is NOT a strength of mine. This was my very first exam and I am really hyped! 4 credits down and only 60ish to go!:yeah::yeah:

mrstookielpn- How is your prorgress coming along? I as well started from scrath. So far I have completed Developmental psych, Sociology, A&P and micro. I am scheduled to take the excel exam on Tues. Im not very good at writing myself but ive gotten pretty decent scored on 4/5 of the practice exams on the writing tool.

I am moving right along! I have sociology, psychology, English, human growth & development, A&I literature and info lit. I am currently working on A&P through excelsior.. I am hoping to be done by the begining of Sept.

You should be fine with the Uexcel exam considering your scores. The exam was not difficult at all and are exactly like the practice tools. Just be mindful of your time. Good luck!

mrstookielpn- Thanks for your encouragement. I went in there after running calls all night at work and managed to pull off a "B". I actually had 30 minutes left but thats only because I took some typing classes when I was younger. Glad to have that done because english comp was something that I thought was gonna be a pain in my butt throught the whole excelsior program. A&P was alot to take in by I did really well on it. Know the muscles and bones and know the kidneys and the fluids and electrolytes. I used TCN module and Lisa Errands notes. Mostly just the TCN stuff though. The practice tests made all of the difference. Good luck and you will do fine. I started the nursing health and safety one. Seems pretty straight forwards and more like a review.
