I need a travel buddy!

I would like to travel nurse in California for 13 weeks and maybe more, who knows, maybe up to a year. I am thinking San Diego, Santa Barbara or Oceanside, or even Lake Tahoe. I am thinking of using American Mobile and want to go in mid-November. Is there anyone out there who are thinking of travelling on their own and are like me and want to go with someone? I'm from Canada.

I am also planning to travel with American Mobile to Cali! Hopefull in the next month to 6 weeks. I am thinking about San Diego or Santa Monica. I am working with a recruiter and finding the best assignment. Feel free to contact me! It would be fun to have a travel buddy or meet other travel nurses in the area. Good Luck!

Hey rnWinn, I'm going to Santa Barbara this winter too! Will be working at the Cottages. Start 12/1/08 but my contract is not all the way set yet. I might be there a few days before to settle in. Email me and we could buddy up....sounds like fun!:yeah:

This is a great thread, let's keep it going.

I'm currently in Kansas City working ICU. My plan is to apply to CRNA school and if I don't get in this next semester I want to travel nurse. This would start June '09 and go through at least until Dec. '09.

I'm open to where/which city, length of stay, etc. I'm not married and have no children so nothing really ties me down to KC(other than mother, father, sister's family, aunts, etc)

If anyone is up for those time frames send me a message and we can start talking about a plan.

I'd be willing to travel with up to three others, as long as everyone can get along. :yeah: For me I want this to be a fun, enjoyable and memorable experience.
