How about exercises, like things they can do while sitting in a chair?

How about something simple - maintaining body warmth without over heating in the Winter months - differences in elderly with circulation, sensation, different needs between seasons, etc. Also, maintaining hydration even in the cold months - Included disclaimer for those needing medication to RX for Pulmonary edema etc, Good Luck
good idea, thanks! anything else?? I was thinking maybe something along the lines of maintaining body movements, or maybe methods of helping arthritis pains?

I would call the nursing home and talk to the activity director and the nurses and get their input on this. They know these patients and should be able to give you some input. The activity director, in particular, may be interested because it is something that she can log as an activity that they have included some of the residents in, and the state department of health that surveys the home LOVES that.
