How about exercises, like things they can do while sitting in a chair?

How about something simple - maintaining body warmth without over heating in the Winter months - differences in elderly with circulation, sensation, different needs between seasons, etc. Also, maintaining hydration even in the cold months - Included disclaimer for those needing medication to RX for Pulmonary edema etc, Good Luck

I would call the nursing home and talk to the activity director and the nurses and get their input on this. They know these patients and should be able to give you some input. The activity director, in particular, may be interested because it is something that she can log as an activity that they have included some of the residents in, and the state department of health that surveys the home LOVES that.

The importance and need to good nutrition~

Ideas for sociailization and interaction with other residents~

Personal grooming habits to brighten your day~ (everyone always feels better when the look their best type scenario)

Pain Diversion techniques~
