Hi all! I am in my next to last semester of my RN-BSN program and desperately need a preceptor so that I can obtain my 60 hours of RN BSN experience. I am willing to precept anywhere!! I live in Denver Colorado. Can anyone tell me how to find a preceptor or at least where to start? My school recommended I cold-call-- which is not my thing.
Thanks!

I would suggest that you contact the local hospitals in your area and ask to speak with their educational coordinators to arrange something that way.

You have to call and go thru education coordinators. Even if you called me, I couldn't do anything about getting you in. I know in our hospital they only take so many students per semester, including all programs such as nearby colleges, RN-BSN hours, and internships for seniors.
ps I don't live out there, just an example
