It's an open book exam, but it's just way too much material to cover!!! Is there some additional resource that I can get my hands on?
I am reading the 20 chapters that the test is on, and I'm just not retaining them!!! These drugs info go in one ear and out the other!
I'm freaking out! Please HELP!

For me, the nurse's drug guide is my BFF when studying pharm.
I also study in drug groups and memorize/learn them that way. Our teacher gives us about 15-20 chapters per test too and for me it is always beneficial to know the contraindications and the nursing interventions.
good luck!

I agree, The Davis Drug Guide helps alot. But since it is open book is there anyway you can put tabs on the different chapters...that way you can locate answers quickly. Just a thought. And make sure to know your drugs by families!!! I got a 91 on my Pharm Final after totally stressing out over it. Just make sure you know how YOUR instructors tests...because every instructor/school is not the same in their expectations.

That's how my tests are, too. Just read, make notes, and go over it a few times. It will start to stick. It helps me to organize my notes so I can start to see the differences in what I'm looking at. At first, all the adverse effects and contraindictions all sounded the same. I also try to think about why it would cause that and picture it in my mind. That helps makes sense of it so I'm not just memorizing it. Thank god I only have one test left!
