I made a spreadsheet when studying for pharm. It hit all the highlights - classification, side effects, use, etc. I carried it in my pocket 24/7 and studied it whenever I had time ... waiting in line at store, clinical breaks, etc. I felt more confident with pharm when it came time for the test because I had been reviewing it constantly.
Good luck ... remember to relax, it allows your brain to absorb the information more freely!
I used the bix index cards. You want the "odd ball" side effects of the meds...they all have N/V/D...pay attention to leg pains, jaw pain, disturbed color vision, etc.
Keep the notecards you make up on the meds in a small recipe box in alphabetical order or by drug classification. That way you have a library to reference in the future.
The Davis Drug Book has a nice CD in the back of it. Good luck.
